Cyberpunk 2077 – Watson District

Watson is one of the six districts in Cyberpunk 2077, and is where V’s story will begin. The corps once dominated Watson, but they have since moved on, and the hulking megabuildings they left behind are now inhabited by various immigrant communities, with signage that combines the styles of Hong Kong and Tokyo. CD PROJEKT RED has described these spaces as “hiding various bazaars and markets in a tangle of narrow alleyways.”

You’ll navigate this kind of canyon-like alleyway in Watson.

As we saw in the 2018 demo Watson’s environments will make for difficult and dynamic traversal. The player will have to take advantage of the cover the narrow alleyways provide and watch out for encounters in the district’s maze-like spaces. The corps move in and out of Watson through hover vehicles, so avoiding the open sky will likely be essential.
